Engagements | Rachel & Aaron continued...

Remember these two? Here are their snow photos, as promised! We came back to school from Christmas break to find the town covered in snow, and got to the orchard as quickly as possible. And just as I thought, these photos turned out so well!

This couple just make my day every time I get to see them. They are always so happy and fun, and the love and friendship between them radiates. Any man who can make his woman laugh like nothing else is funnier is deserving of her love.

Riddle for you: What do you get when you put two nerdy best friends together to take photos?

Wedding | Morgan & Rikki

I finally shot a wedding! Well, kind of. I was the Matron of Honor and got to second shoot when I wasn't in the photo. But still! And it was a stunning wedding, full of tears, a busy MoH, and delicious cake. The main photographer, the bride's aunt, took beautiful bridals for the couple the day before, and just as amazing wedding day photos. She was so organized, even having the list of required group photos handy so she could keep track of what to do. I enjoyed standing by and learning by observing a well-seasoned photographer, and I enjoyed being allowed to take photos alongside her as well. Definitely an incredible day with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.

and myself and the bride of course!

Head Shots | David Cammerron

My husband joined Genevive and I for head shots as well. He helped with finding a suitable location to take the photos, setting up the lighting, and finding good backdrops. I think he also does a great job posing for photos (only slightly biased).

Art | Ceramics and Drawings

So my talented sister has all this great art, and she wanted me to take pictures of it all before we left home for college. A few weeks later I finally got to edit them, and they look great!

Portraits | Lisa

So here's my lovely sister. She had her make-up done all fancy that night and had new clothes, so she actually asked me to take photos of her. Believe it, she asked me. So we grabbed a sheet and some lamps for lighting and set up a mini studio and got some great shots! It'll be very convenient to have a studio of my own in the future.

New Beginnings 2.0

After many months of consideration, I've finally decided to get my photography career on the web(and I've changed the name). So this makes it official, right? I'm offering my services at jaw-dropping prices! I was hoping that a full website would be doable, but a free blog will have to be sufficient until I have a steady income from this new venture.

I love photography. I'm willing to step in and preserve your special moment to make it a lasting memory. I would like to start doing engagement, wedding, family portrait, individual portrait, graduation, and advertising/corporate photography.

Favorites from my photo shoots will eventually be posted here for all to view the quality of my work. For customers I will include both originals and edits of all photos taken for them. Pricing and packages are negotiable as I am not a trained photographer - just someone with a dream for the future.

Cheers!
~Amy
